This year’s celebration of these two important dates begins on 19 November with the awarding of “cultural passports” to first-grade pupils of Jovan Sterija Popović Primary School. In this way, we aim to bring our youngest visitors even closer to culture and museum experiences.
On Thursday, 20 November, fathers and children can enter the Ethnographic Museum at a promotional price of 120 dinars and spend several hours enjoying a diverse program titled “Kiddo & Dad”. For all lovers of play, the ground floor of the museum will feature tables with board games designed and produced by Srpski esnaf društvenih igara and Wood Play.
Workshops begin with “Little Conservator” at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., and 6 p.m. In addition, at 5 p.m. there will be a short guided tour of the permanent exhibition, including a visit to the exhibition “Ceramics: The Mark.” From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the museum will host an exciting workshop titled “Explorer at the Ethnographic Museum,” during which children, with the help of their dads, will discover our culture and objects from the past through play and exploration.
Throughout the entire program, the youngest visitors will have the opportunity to try their hand at being little explorers and conservators, to socialize, learn, and have fun — all within a unique museum setting.
We invite all fathers and children to take advantage of the promotional ticket price and join us for a day filled with shared experiences, learning, and creative activities.
