The Ethnographic Museum is hosting a series of wool felting workshops dedicated to exploring this traditional technique of creating objects from wool and its applications in contemporary arts and crafts.

During the workshops, participants explore various ways of applying this technique through the creation of jewellery, pictures and lampshades, while Easter egg decorations are also planned for the upcoming period.

Wool felting, also known as fulling, is one of the oldest textile-making techniques. It involves bonding unspun wool fibres using water, soap and mechanical pressure to create a firm, compact material. Traditionally used primarily to make clothing, footwear and blankets, this technique continues to play an important role in contemporary arts and crafts.

All places in the workshops have been filled, and registration is currently closed.
