What does the work of a curator look like beyond the museum walls?
What precedes a single exhibited object, and what is the path from field research to the museum showcase?
This expert guided tour offers an opportunity to learn more about the process of creating exhibitions and the work of ethnographers. The curator will present the research journey that begins in the office, continues in the field, in direct contact with people, and ends with objects becoming part of the museum collection — as testimonies of cultural identity and heritage.
Visitors will have the chance to discover the human side of ethnographic work, the dedication to research, and the mission of the Museum that has lasted for 124 years.
