MEMORY – field research of the Ethnographic Museum

To mark the 120th anniversary of its first permanent exhibition, the Ethnographic Museum presents “Memory – Field Research of the Ethnographic Museum”, an interactive display highlighting the role of fieldwork in creating and enriching museum collections. Through selected artifacts such as the ćurdija, horse saddle, and spindle (preslica), the exhibition reflects the Museum’s long research tradition and the living culture of Serbian communities. Enhanced with audio guides, an interactive app, augmented reality, and a digital map, “Memory” connects heritage, people, and place through a blend of history and modern technology.
