Within the permanent display of the legacy collection of Hristifor Crnilović, visitors can explore traditional costumes and jewelry from the Central Balkan region dating to the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In addition to preserving remarkable examples of adornment, Crnilović documented the techniques of their creation through manuscripts and drawings, leaving an invaluable record of skills once passed down through generations.

Beads have always been in style. As colorful traces on the garments of our ancestors, jewelry made of these small circular ornaments remains an attractive and contemporary fashion detail even today.

We invite you to take part in preserving cultural heritage by learning the traditional jewelry-making technique from Kosovo Pomoravljebeaded bracelet weaving.
