The opening of the exhibition of works by students of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts will take place on June 4 at 6:00 PM at Manak's House. The exhibition will remain open to visitors until June 14.

This student exhibition was created as part of the academic program of the Faculty of Contemporary Arts, within the first year of the Costume Design study program, and is the result of research into the rich visual heritage of traditional costume and handcrafted objects.

Drawing inspiration from embroidery, woven patterns, jewelry, everyday objects, and ceremonial garments, the students explored contemporary interpretations of traditional forms and symbols through drawing and mixed media techniques. The exhibited works establish a dialogue between cultural heritage and contemporary identity, demonstrating how tradition can serve as a source of inspiration for new artistic expressions.

Traditional objects carry stories of family life, customs, craftsmanship, and belonging. While some works preserve recognizable motifs and forms, others transform them into contemporary and abstract visual compositions that reflect on memory, history, and cultural continuity.

The exhibition highlights the beauty of handmade craftsmanship and the importance of preserving cultural heritage in contemporary society, while also showcasing the creativity of young artists who view tradition not as something confined to the past, but as a living and inexhaustible source of inspiration. By connecting traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistic approaches, the exhibited works invite visitors to reflect on the relationship between identity, heritage, and artistic innovation.

We invite you to experience these works as both a tribute to cultural heritage and a vision of its future through the perspectives of a new generation of artists.
