As part of the exhibition “The Traditional House of Upper Podrinje,” the children’s workshop “Unity Builds the Home” will be organized, which will take place on May 30 at Manak’s House from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Through collaborative work, play, and creative activities, participants will have the opportunity to learn about the traditional architecture of Serbian villages and create miniature structures using natural materials – a house, a cottage, a storage building, and a fence. The workshop encourages teamwork, imagination, and learning through hands-on activities, while the final result will be a collective model of a traditional Serbian village, inspired by the proverb “Unity Builds the Home.”
The workshop will be led by Katarina Čarapić through an interactive approach that connects tradition, language, artistic expression, and learning.
