During the workshops, you will have the opportunity to learn how to weave traditional bead jewellery, including bracelets, necklaces, chatelaines and other ornaments characteristic of Kosovo Pomoravlje, contributing to the preservation and appreciation of this valuable cultural heritage.
The workshops are led by Duška Todorovski, a collaborator of Manak’s House, who learned this traditional craft from her great-grandmother Velika, her mother Persida, and her aunt by marriage, Krsjana.
The beginner-level course lasts two months, with workshops held twice a week:
- Wednesdays: 6–9 p.m.
- Saturdays: 1–4 p.m.
Location: Manak’s House, 5 Gavrila Principa Street, Belgrade.
Beads may be small, but the stories they carry are great. By learning and practising this traditional technique, we help preserve our heritage and ensure that this craft continues to be passed on to future generations.
Welcome to Manak’s House!
